Don't Give Up

This title came from an inspirational song performed by Alicia Keys and Bono. I also want to dedicate this message to Eugene - even if you do not manage to reach your expectations, there's always other opportunities for you to succeed. Anyway, good luck for your Chinese results!!

Today woke up at 6am getting ready to go back VS Choir. Had a soporific PT... which is rather disappointing. Only 6 people wanted to play badminton lol!! The game was ultra-boring and it kind of terminated early... Nathaniel turned to completing his Chemistry assignment, and I tought him a few useful things. The session was fruitful until he left his homework inside a classroom and forgot to take it back!!... The choir practice was quite interesting... I got to see the Sec 1 and 2's sing. Some of them are quite frivolous... partly because they have not been thoroughly imbued with the precious virtue of being disciplined! Lack of punishment in this case... need more physical torments like pumping. The most severe problems were excessive fidgeting and non-stop, rapid-fire chattering. The overall discipline can be improved though... the juniors just need time to mature and ripen into harvestable talents. =)

After choir practice, Eugene, Reuben and me went for lunch @ KFC Parkway. The outlet was apparently suffering from understaffed crisis... Reuben and I queued for like almost 8minutes to get our turn to order food! How atrocious!! And we saw a seemingly young boy working at the counter... looks like the desperate understaffed KFC is turning to exploit child labour to fill up the unwanted vacancies! Just kidding... =x

We talked about Reuben's escapades to ALL of the local polytechics to satisfy his freebie-collecting craze. In the end he passed me 3 nylon bags, each representing 3 different polys LOL! We used them as convenient sitting mats at an ECP beach where we spent our leisure time watching people wakeboarding on the pathetic tiny waves on the receding shoreline and drawing up plans to ridicule Dora and her malicious accomplices! We went to Mcdonalds after seeing that the tide is retreating crazily (the Moon is closest to Earth today) and treat ourselves to quick-desserts. Reuben was like 'dunnoe' what to eat like as if he visited Mcdonalds for the first time of his life! LOLX....

After bading adieu to Eugene at the bus-stop, Reuben and me decided to go Tampines for a walk. It was the usual Tampines Mall... with the usual crowd... and with the usual boredom of shopping there! Reuben had a brief outlook at the JC curriculum when we browsed through the plethora of A Level books, and I think he should continue studying in JC. It's quite promising lol.

It was extremely tiring after venturing out of home for almost half a day! I'm on the verge of dozing off right now and topple off my shaky wooden chair.... Sayonara!!!!!!
