Am too tired to type anything...

Need sleeping pills.

Yearning

Wanted to write a poem to express my feeling... yearning to be free (ORD), yearning for love... but SADLY I can't construct one. Oh well...

Anyways... morning PT at Selarang is SO unconstructive. Just completed 4 laps of walking-around-a-building and sat down as a spectator during Games time. Wasn't interested in street-soccer and bastketball at all... I rather play badminton / ping-pong instead... And woah, the mosquitoes there are FIERCE... they'll attach themselves onto my legs and WON'T let go till they suck to their heart's content (and giving me time to slap them to death).

Lunch was not delectable as before... the dry piece of roasted chicken totally spoiled my appetite. And the sad atmosphere in Selarang worsened my mood for the rest of the day... =(

Army Innovation Day tomorrow... Comms course starting on 3rd May.... omg things are getting much more hectic!! But I have to thank Arthur for driving me around in his red Mazda... HAHA! Or else I could have DIED from excessive usage of public transport. Yes I hate taking buses/MRT.

Yep... today's a boring day... just like any other days. Thanks Gary for chatting with me today! =)

Off to dinner.... Bye

OOOOOOOOOO!!

I love the exclaimation 'OOOO'! It's full of expression and it can mean MANY things. Like a bitchy 'ooo' if you spot someone wearing a pair of ugly shoes, or an angry 'ooo' if your $2400 LV bag was trampled on by an idiot. Yes, all hail the 'OOO'! (Andrew would totally love this!)

First of all.... OOOOOOOOOO to my revived blog!!!! :)

I would also like to say, 'Oooo, my life's such a bore whore'. YES INDEED. I feel so outrageously bored at work, because 75% of my colleagues aren't present, they're either participating in the NDP rehearsal or on overseas leave. Gosh... and all these stress is making me binge-eating AGAIN... NOOO!!! Looks like I have to invest some time into exercising...

Let's just say that we're very fortunate to have MUSIC in our lives!! [yay to the ever-expanding Pop industry] Been listening to Class 95 all the time during office hour (987 FM is soo boring with its ever-repeating litany of the latest songs), and fell in lurve with a few good tunes :)

- Michael Buble (jazz dazz) > Haven't Met You Yet
- Alicia Keys ft. Beyonce (fierce duo) > Put It in a Love Song
- Sara Bareilles > Love Song
- Timbaland ft. Katy Perry (weird but okay partnering) > If We Ever Meet Again
- Taylor Swift > Today Was a Fairy Tale
- Demi Lovato > Here We Go Again
- Paramore > Brick by Boring Brick
- Cheryl Cole > Fight For This Love
- Mariah Carey (my FAVOURITE glamdiva of all time) > Angels Cry
- Kelly Clarkson > All I Ever Wanted

Just by listening to all these fabulous songs makes me wanna fall in LOVE! Haha :) Hope to have a taste of it... whether it is as saccharine sweet as Taylor's magical serenades, or melancholic like Toni Braxton's 'Unbreak My Heart'. I'm soo lovelorn... lols.

[Setting my emo-drama aside...]

So happy to receive a Gucci messenger bag from my Papa (delievered from HK). WoOtS ~

Went for the NUS Architecture interview yesterday... was quite an 'eye-opening' experience... The interviewers asked me random questions like, 'Do you watch Glee?' and 'Do you like carrying guns?'. Ooooo...... Well I tell them I do watch Glee, love it as much as any other good musicals (e.g Hairspray, Chicago, Phantom Of The Opera), and I HATE HOLDING RIFLES. Was being very anal about it! Let's just hope that they'll accept moi into NUS!! - keeps fingers crossed -

That's about it... hope that I can have a GOOD week ahead... Selarang Camp here I come !!...

JC2 SA2 2009 Updates

GP - The comprehension passage was a little bit spastic. I don't know what descriptive words I can use... It's all about differentiating 'happiness' and 'contentment', and an in-depth 'analysis' of the two terms in many perplexing dimensions that could potentially lead the reader to eternal discontentment. GET WHAT I MEAN?

Grade: E

Maths - Quite satisfied with it, cuz I've studied for it! Unlike that crappy SA1 paper which I failed badly. Could solve the seemingly confusing Integration question, and it boosted my morale after getting humiliated by the AP GP question. Statistics is do'able, but I don't know whether my answers are correct or not. At least they made sense to me!

Grade: C

Chemistry - Very satisfied with it. 1 or 2 confusing questions in the MCQ section. Section B was manageable, a few blunders here and there. Section C was extremely longwinded, but I managed to finish every single question ON TIME. Forgot to draw optical isomers properly!

Grade: B

Physics - Couldn't do some of the questions. Especially the one on shading the boxes with the information given to you in the form of a detailed table... extremely perplexing. Could do the Kinematics + WEP questions with ease. Had a little bit difficulty with electromagnetism.

Grade: B

History - It was a relatively tough paper, because we had to complete a brand-new section of the History paper, which is a SBQ question on UN. Only had 1 practice on it before going for the test. The other questions were phrased in a tough manner, which required more analytical skill than ever.

Grade: C

June Holidays with a speck of H1N1 vibe

OH MOI GOODY.... it's been a long time since I've written in this tiny space of my imagination. Let me ramble on all the 'exciting' happenings during the June summer vacation and also delineate abit on the latest H1N1 crazy spree.

The June Holidays had been the MOST unproductive time of my JC life... Been slacking like almost every single day... spending alot of time on playing Maplestory. I still can't figure out why and how I caught the Maple-bug once again... it left me a traumatic experience in my secondary school days, AND I DON'T WISH TO LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN!! That's why I've been trying to get out of my comfort nest, and study with friends... the computer is maniacally distracting.

Singapore was at a close shave when the H1N1 situation was granted a Yellow indicator. But it seems like Singapore couldn't remain a impregnable fortress in the midst of a brewing H1N1 catastrophe. The number of infected people increased to 103 from a mere 20 within weeks... but luckily those cases were discovered promptly and the patients were sent for quaratine ASAP to prevent a potential epidemic on this tiny island. Oh... the hot weather could also have killed the nasty virus...

Let's hope that everyone can do their best in the EXAMS and stay healthy!! CHIONG TOWARDS A LEVELS !!!

Depression Diary 2

I know... I have no rights to lament here. There are people out there who suffer worse fates than me. I can only sympathise them, as an acquaintant. I believe almost everyone in TPJC Choir is now extremely moody right now... especially those individuals who could not pass the 2nd round of Choir auditions. I've witnessed emotional release from different people, and how their close friends were consoling them, or even asserting that the unjust imposed on them should be redressed. I have to say that this was the second most elegaic moments in my life, the first being the SYF 2007. To all TPJChoir members, let us infuse our emotions into the songs, sing them well, and remembering to do ourselves and our fellow choirmates proud.

We can do it!!
