Almost every GP lesson is depressing. Was very disappointed with the GP results.. didn't manage to pass the Comprehension paper. The most traumatizing part was the results-taking part. Mrs Kum was like so pissed-off by the abysmal scores we've obtained... and her comments weren't motivational/constructive in helping us to improve. All she could say was 'Are you trying to set a new record? (benchmark for the lousiest mark)', and 'you have already got used to failing in the previous year'. And she was emphasising the critical lack of analytical skill in all of us. (1 more thing.. English isn't my first language at all. I'm not an American) Sorry! But I just don't have that innate/congenital ability of displaying spectacular analytical skills that would grant me 25 and above for the GP Comprehension paper... maybe I should inject some magical potion in me that boost my analytical skill instead! I'm so not conditioned to excel in GP, and she can just stop those debilitating and mordant remarks already. Can I please get a better tutor to guide us on how to be more analytical? All those reprimandings doesn't seem to help though...
I'm wondering that whether she was so acclimatized to using such poisonous comments in bid to 'encourage' us to become better person. Well I think it failed miserably. I'm not going to hear any further bits of trashy and unhelpful 'words of goodness'. I'll have my own way of passing GP. Peace.

The Start of the Battle: A Levels
I can feel the trepidations... the restlessness lurking in my heart. This is the real battle now, and I must conquer all exams and ultimately, the A Levels. I've decided to stay back after school daily to do intensive revision, both new and old chapters. Time does not wait for you, and you need to cherish any opportunities in order to succeed academically. Let's fight a good fight, my friends.

AHHH!!
Having red-eye disease now. Went to see doctor just now, the pain and persistent prickiness is extremely irritating. I wished I could dug out my eyeballs and rinse them in saline solution. It was coated in yellow inflammation ok?! It kept blurring my vision. At last the miraculous eye-drop managed to contract the blood veins that were crawling across my eyeballs... Phew...
Today had Maths paper, and it was seriously affected by my stupid red evil eyes. I was consistently distracted by the itch and couldn't have a clear mind. I was like panicking because the stuff I've learnt just disappeared in an itchy blink. Luckily the last few questions are easy... it sort of relieved my palpitations, and all the memory came back, so I went back to the first few questions and complete them. I think I can make it to an A-grade hopefully...
Tomorrow's the most dreadful day of all. It's Physics and History... the most ruthless killer in TPJC. I must confront with my utmost bravery and conquer all obstacles !! But I think I'll not pass the History one. I've always fail to do well in it... THAT'S VERY SAD ALRIGHT. Haizz... Shall go and revise my work. Bye!

GOOD NEWS!
I'm soooo back to school again... dunnoe why got this urge to study lols! Maybe it's my dream to enter university giving me an awakening call? Probably... Well, I've aimed to do well in the Diagnostic tests. If I couldn't, then I need to consolidate my foundation quickly. So.. I'm taking this test as a gauge of my current standard. Nonetheless, I hope all my good friends can do well in their tests too =p WE'RE SOOO GOING TO UNIVERSITY ALRIGHT!!
Today's GP paper was sort of... manageable. Because the teachers had told us the topic that they're focusing on. Read a few articles on Sports some days beforehand. The essay questions came out as expected. The comprehension passage was rather interesting too... Had abit fun doing the summary LOLS... It's the only thing you can seek entertainment with at that particular moment.... Don't blame me for being stupid.
Tomorrow's Chemistry, I'm going to do revision now. Cheerios.

Don't Give Up
This title came from an inspirational song performed by Alicia Keys and Bono. I also want to dedicate this message to Eugene - even if you do not manage to reach your expectations, there's always other opportunities for you to succeed. Anyway, good luck for your Chinese results!!
Today woke up at 6am getting ready to go back VS Choir. Had a soporific PT... which is rather disappointing. Only 6 people wanted to play badminton lol!! The game was ultra-boring and it kind of terminated early... Nathaniel turned to completing his Chemistry assignment, and I tought him a few useful things. The session was fruitful until he left his homework inside a classroom and forgot to take it back!!... The choir practice was quite interesting... I got to see the Sec 1 and 2's sing. Some of them are quite frivolous... partly because they have not been thoroughly imbued with the precious virtue of being disciplined! Lack of punishment in this case... need more physical torments like pumping. The most severe problems were excessive fidgeting and non-stop, rapid-fire chattering. The overall discipline can be improved though... the juniors just need time to mature and ripen into harvestable talents. =)
After choir practice, Eugene, Reuben and me went for lunch @ KFC Parkway. The outlet was apparently suffering from understaffed crisis... Reuben and I queued for like almost 8minutes to get our turn to order food! How atrocious!! And we saw a seemingly young boy working at the counter... looks like the desperate understaffed KFC is turning to exploit child labour to fill up the unwanted vacancies! Just kidding... =x
We talked about Reuben's escapades to ALL of the local polytechics to satisfy his freebie-collecting craze. In the end he passed me 3 nylon bags, each representing 3 different polys LOL! We used them as convenient sitting mats at an ECP beach where we spent our leisure time watching people wakeboarding on the pathetic tiny waves on the receding shoreline and drawing up plans to ridicule Dora and her malicious accomplices! We went to Mcdonalds after seeing that the tide is retreating crazily (the Moon is closest to Earth today) and treat ourselves to quick-desserts. Reuben was like 'dunnoe' what to eat like as if he visited Mcdonalds for the first time of his life! LOLX....
After bading adieu to Eugene at the bus-stop, Reuben and me decided to go Tampines for a walk. It was the usual Tampines Mall... with the usual crowd... and with the usual boredom of shopping there! Reuben had a brief outlook at the JC curriculum when we browsed through the plethora of A Level books, and I think he should continue studying in JC. It's quite promising lol.
It was extremely tiring after venturing out of home for almost half a day! I'm on the verge of dozing off right now and topple off my shaky wooden chair.... Sayonara!!!!!!

Major Boring
I'm hoping to return back to school ASAP!! The boredom of staying at home and facing the digital pixels is killing me... During this period of involuntary confinement I got addicted to Facebook - sort of the new ' Dota '... it's kind of no life doing virtual socialising... spending your time cyber-fishing/updating stupid photos/posting irrelevant comments. All this nits and bits helped me to past time though... at least it's better than doing nothing!
I'm really looking forward to visit VS Choir again on Saturday. Hope to have a nice weekend before school starts. =D

Sunburn Chronicle
Today went cycling with Jonathan Chan and Tengwei @ East Coast Park. It was 2-hours long, and I forgot that the sun is oh-so-gloriously bright, that it almost charred my skin. My arms are feeling the lingering heat while I'm typing this post. LOL!! I've also sustained a butt-sore from sitting on the tiny bicycle-seat... It was sooo unbearable ! I really pity those professional cyclists... it's a miracle they don't have deformed butts ! [I'm wish I can be in Artic right now... the heat is killing me]
After the hellish cycle-ride, we went to Hong Kong Cafe to have our well-deserved lunch. [Gelare was just opposite and it was having the usual Tuesday discount!!!] I've ordered a scrumptuous feast that is enough to cover up the fats+calories that I'd lost during that bike trip. It was Curry Brisket with rice, Siew Mai, tender fried squid sprinkled with appetising chilli salt and Mango pudding with Mango Ice-cream. I didn't know I was so ravenous until I could manage to eat everything spick-and-span style! After stuffing my poor stomach with loads of spicy madness, I had an acid reflux, which almost burned my throat away. I guess that taught me a lesson on not to gorge yourself straight after exercising!!
Time pasts so totally fast when you're having fun, and it's only 5days left to the opening of Hell!! I've gotta rush my Maths extra assignment to keep up my standard in Maths !! LET'S ACE OUR EXAMS, FOLKS!!

Food Craze
I don't know what's getting into me these days... my inspirations and interests are all in a total spasmodic insanity. Got addicted to DotA since the last 2 weeks... I've to eliminate this choleric habit of being mesmerised by funky online games that left me a traumatising experience when I was in Secondary 2. (I almost fail to meet the promotional criteria due to excessive Maple'ing) Luckily, DotA is starting to get boring... and I turn to browsing the wonderous food-recipes at the godly-fantabulous allrecipes.com in bid to spend my leisure time! That gastronomical gourmetish (this is a portmantaeu of gourmet + fetish) struck me in an instant, and I thought of making a lunch for my family the next day. The amateur lunch menu consisted of simple dishes such as Macaroni with cheese, Baked Mashed Potato, Caesar Salad and finally the sweet-tooth killer Strawberry Key Lime Trifle. Although the mashed potato didn't turn out well (the potato was not properly mashed - there were still partially-unchewable chunks of potato left), the whole thing is quite delish... FOR A GREENHORN! BTW, this cooking fascination is also inspired by the triumphant success of the Bread Pudding created by Reuben Su =)
That's all for my revelations in Jan 2009... I'm soo anticipating a good timetable =o

New Hopes in 2009
Year 2009, means 2008 and all the tormenting unhappiness are gone. (top on the Unwanted list are PW + things that require trashy teamwork which ought to be banished forever) I guess 2009 isn't going to be such a 'fantabulous year' either... there're going to be 1) release of PW grade 2) a fatal exam-tide invasion 3) 1 more year of staying in 08S09. I just hope that my classmates will be more enthusiastic in their academical pursues... Yes I wanna move on to University no matter what!! Now that all those idiotic time-wasting projects are completely done with, I can allocate more studying time. Also, there will be an upcoming SYF competition, so time-management is a must. I think I'll die in the midst of hecticeness and putting up with other people's pathological behavioural maladjustments... Talking about whores and butches, I'm not going to give any face to whoever is pissing me off. No one will jeopardise my precious plan to get an admission into University!! Yes.. so to those potential troublemakers and jokers... watch what you're doing. [draws a fine line between real friends and pretend-to-be-friends]
Since year 2008 isn't a great year... I'm not going to present any valedictorians or longwinded corny speeches on who I'm grateful to... -.- I just want to wish all of my good friends only, promising success in all their future endeavours. Bonne Chance! [it's the baugettey French]
