Hello !! I'm writing this post right now at my cousin's house in HK =)) For the first 2 days, I've been at SOGO Causeway Bay foraging for new fit-to-wear winter clothings, and my father's really generous about it! Bought Arnold Palmer + Teelocker jumpers for my 2 sisters, which cost over SGD $150+ ..., and I bought a black NIKE sweater @ HKD $485 !! [ will soon post up pictures ]. My HK Gourmet Bonanza haven't really start... just had appetitisers only ^^ Roasted pigeon + the choice of delish dim-sum tibits they have to offer to STUFF YOUR MOUTH! Hahaha... I must really say HK people DO spend alot of $$ on their meals... their breakfast (mainly yumcha time) starts from HKD$200+... If you choose Cafe de Coral / Maxim Restaurants as alternatives will reduce your breakfast expenditure by around 65%... but the taste still remains as good. I had a set meal at Cafe de Coral this morning, which consists of a Norwegian Fish fillet + smooth scrambled egg + thick toast + sausage + Ovaltine @ around SGD $4 ???
20th November, Thursday
Visited Wong Tai Sin Temple, and my family was welcomed by an insufferable bunch of old conner grandmamas... Those old people were loitering around the temple selling the praying peripherals, but apparently the temple has laid a new rule, which stipulates no bringing in of any praying stuff other than those thin joss-sticks. Then we have to discard all the thick candles + incense papers inside the temple's 'sinister collection bin'... I bet the temple must have collaborated with that bunch of scrying old people to garner donation for the temple... or not?!?! Anyway we just treat those 'cheated money' as a form of kind donation to the temple.... LOL!
After lunch @ a restaurant, we went to visit our relatives, and as usual, the adults will engage in their mahjong frenzy, that involves alot of high-decibel yodelling and a smoke-filled living room that resembles an illegal gambling den. No more activities later. Should be doing homework.... SAD!
Future updates: Will be going to Macau for a few days. My father told me that we're going to reside in a so-called 'Grand Venice Hotel'... Wow that sounds majestic enough... I wonder how it will be... YES and also not forgetting about casinos.
