TPJC Choir Performance @ Esplanade 19th May 2008 is a SMASHING HIT !!
Hahax the title is a tad too extravagant.. lol ! But I lurrrve it !! XOXO ~ We've come a long way since the first day when I entered TPJC Choir; I still remember the unfamiliar faces I seen when I first integrate into the new environment; I still remember how nervous I am when I realised that I'm the only J1 Tenor that came for the very first sectionals. Oh my gosh... I'm speaking as though I'm writing a memoir lol !! Hahas... But I really had a good time with my seniors.. they're helpful, kind and patient. Although the times we had with the seniors are hasty and short... I will always remember the indelible bits of good memories that we had. THANK YOU J2 SENIORS FOR DEDICATING SUCH COMMENDABLE EFFORTS IN PREPARING US FOR THE CONCERT !!! Anywayz... I can't imagine how the handover will turn out to be. I'm not ready to accept the fact. I dunnoe why.... I think the decision is too sudden.... it's just too fast. And the imminent SYF competition is making me nervous.... oh my.... I can sense the pressure building up... homework + CCA !!! It's quite tough to strike a balance between the hectic academic and co-curricular schedule... I really need to sought help ASAP !! I will collapse one day if I can't cope... oh well... ON A BRIGHTER NOTE.... I LOVED THE CONCERT ALOT. ^.^ Okies, that's all for now... blessings for a good year.

Class BBQ
It was a tempestuous roller-coaster ride, an outpour of primordial, unconcealed emotions. The BBQ sort of altered each and everyone's perspective about one another within the class. People get extremely unsatisfied and furious during games; spouting an array of expletives and invectives in the midst of the activites. The harangue almost transformed into a conflict that I do not dare to contemplate. The resentment and unsatisfaction was building up along the procession of games, probably due to the nature of the games or the attitude group members was displaying. Fortunately, the night BBQ managed to salvage the situation to some extent. In this BBQ, I'd witnessed a different side of some of my classmates; I must admit that it was quite shocking.... Anywayz, I hope that my classmates can get along with each other in the long run. =p

Ushering the 23rd Council...
The Student Council Investiture was a glorious event. As the 22nd Student Council strides down the red carpet brimming with utmost pride, and later moving on to the stage receving their well-deserved token of appreciation and recognition, of their numerous effort that they have contributed to the school. After this the 23rd Student Council stepped out, again sashaying down the luxurious red carpet, each and everyone exudes grandeur and glamour. I was wondering if this batch is going to do any good to the school. The reason I've developed a certain degree of uncertainty and disapproval for this council is because I think that it's just only an agglomeration of popular and well-loved individuals, and this brings about the pretentious facade of the Council. It's merely a popularity contest; a meretricious chocolate-box; delusions of grandeur. What matters most is their capibility and competency, which I doubt all of the Council Members can develope to a significant extent. Some of the members have already shown their ' good performance ' by dozing off during lectures, coming late for class and not submitting their homework on-time. Is this what we call ' positive exemplar and role model ' ? What are they revered of ? Their outstanding and commendable social network and relationships ? I'm disgusted at the sheer reputation and adoration they have received. This doesn't really reflect much about the ' high standard ' of the Student Council. Lastly, I hope they can fulfil their promises made to us during the electrion period. I hate people who make empty promises and donning pretentious facades.
